Although it might appear that Vajray\u0101na, or the \u201cvajra vehicle,\u201d is a third yana<\/em> that exists apart from H\u012bnay\u0101na and Mah\u0101y\u0101na, Vajray\u0101na is, in fact, an aspect of Mah\u0101y\u0101na, or the \u201cGreat Vehicle\u201d tradition. As with any journey we might undertake, having a proper understanding of the way will help us travel with a clear focus and with well-directed exertions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In this teaching, His Holiness provides a concise explanation of the Sakya protocols for receiving the Vajray\u0101na Dharma.
