Rinpoche stayed on innumerable major and minor retreats, practicing almost all the deities of the&nbsp;Sakya&nbsp;and the&nbsp;Ngor&nbsp;traditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the age of seventeen, Rinpoche stayed on a three-and-half year continuous retreat, practicing mainly on the&nbsp;sadhana of Hevajra and other major deities. At the age of 24, Rinpoche was enthroned as the 75th abbot of&nbsp;Ngor Ewan Choden&nbsp;Monastery and has effectively led and maintained the&nbsp;Ngor&nbsp;School up to 16th March 2000, when he handed the abbotship to H.E. the 76th Luding Khen Rinpoche.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rinpoche has contributed greatly to the\u00a0Buddha dharma\u00a0by bestowing extensive Dharma teachings, empowerments, oral transmissions.
