He was a disciple of Khenchen Lapsum Gyaltsen, and nephew of Jamyang Khyentse Wangchuk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wangchuk Rabten is also an important master in the transmission lineage of the Lamdr\u00e9 Lobshed teachings.
