Su padre fue el gran Jamg\u00f6n Anye Shyap Kunga Sonam, vig\u00e9simo s\u00e9ptimo sostenedor del trono Sakya. Su madre era Machick Orgyen Kyabma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Comenz\u00f3 a recibir iniciaciones y ense\u00f1anzas de su padre a una edad temprana. Se dice que se convirti\u00f3 en un experto en el dibujo de ma\u1e47\u1e0dala y a realizar rituales.
