Ingres\u00f3 en el monasterio a la edad de siete a\u00f1os. Recibi\u00f3 todas las ense\u00f1anzas del Sutra, el tantra y de instrucciones esenciales, incluido el Lamdre, de maestros como el sostenedor del trono Sakya 39\u00ba, Trichen Dragshan Zangpo, Trichen Dragshul Trinley Rinchen, Vajradhara Ngor Khangsar y Lama Thupten Zangpo.
