Description:

His Holiness the 43rd Sakya Trizin, Gyana Vajra Rinpoche bestowed this teaching online, at the request of ScinGiang Center, Italy on November 4, 2021.

Parting from the Four Attachments, a concise pith instruction given by Mañjuśrī, the great bodhisattva encompassing wisdom, to Sachen Kunga Nyingpo, the first Sakya Patriarch, contains the entire essence of the Mahayana path toward perfect enlightenment. Specifically, it is the remedy for helping us to remove all kinds of suffering in both the worldly and spiritual paths.

Parting from the Four Attachments is a popular teaching within the Sakya and other traditions. This specific commentary, however, is presented in a modern context, not just for practitioners but for lay people regardless of religious belief. His Holiness shares with us his insights and views, revolving the four lines of instructions by Mañjuśrī, addressing the misconceptions of Dharma practice as well as how we can be confident to empower ourselves in overcoming sufferings and lead a meaningful, happy life.
