Dharmapāla Rakshita (1268-1287) was the ninth Sakya throne holder and the nephew of the fifth Sakya patriarch, Drögon Chögyal Phagpa. Dharmapāla Rakshita was appointed as the Imperial Teacher (Dishi) in 1281 of the Mongul Khan.
