At the request of Guru Sakya Monastery, His Holiness the 41st Sakya Trichen will preside over the instatement ceremony of His Eminence Khondung Asanga Vajra Rinpoche as the head lama of Guru Sakya Moanstery from March 19 to 25, 2024.

Below is the official schedule announced by the organizer:

March 19: H.H. the Sakya Trichen to preside over Guru Rinpoche’s Mind Accomplishment Puja of the Northern Treasure.

March 21: Instatement Ceremony of H.E. Khondung Asanga Vajra Rinpoche.

March 22: H.H. the Sakya Trichen to bestow the blessing transmission for the Combined Practice of Sakya Pandita and Manjushri.

March 23: H.E. Khondung Asanga Vajra Rinpoche to give a Dharma teaching to the monastic and lay congregation.

March 24: H.H. the Sakya Trichen to bestow the Rigsum Gonpo (Manjushri, Avalokiteshvara, and Vajrapani) Initiation.

March 25: Long-life Tenzhug Offering to H.H. the Sakya Trichen.
