Dezhung Lungrig Tenpai Nyima Rinpoche or the third Dezhung Tulku, was an important Sakya teacher renowned for his vast learning and realization. He was a student of Jamyang Khyentse Chokyi Lodro and many other masters. Dezhung Rinpoche established Tharlam Sasang Namgyaling Monastery in Kathmandu. Several world’s leading Tibetan scholars were Rinpoche’s students.
