Chetsun Rinchen Khyentse Wangpo, the twenty-fourth abbot of Nalendra Monastery, was recognized as a rebirth of Rongton Sakya Gyaltsen. Machig Labdron prophesized that Sakya Gyaltsen was an emanation of Maitreya.
